14A – Halfway Reflection

  1. To be completely honest, I got really behind with keeping up with these assignments. I ended up missing three weeks of work because I was caught up studying for Calc and Micro. I didn't realize how much effort was needed to complete these assignments. Although I have fallen behind, I am trying to complete the rest of the assignments to hopefully still receive a good grade in the class. I would say getting the assignments done in the beginning of the week would help rather than waiting until Friday night when they are due.
  2. I need a good grade in this class so although I did sort of in a way give up, I am not giving up anymore points.
  3. 1. Get things done in the beginning of the week.
2. Work with others, if you need help just ask a T.A. or become friends with someone in the class.

3. Take the course seriously, spend 2-3 hours a week keeping up with the assignments.

  1. Hey Jacob!

Something exactly like this happened to me last year, and I am telling you from the bottom of my heart, there is no way to catch up. If you don't want it to affect your GPA negatively you should 100% drop the course and save yourself the trouble of trying to fix the unfixable. I did not realize that my assignments were not submitting and got very behind, but there is a set amount of points and judging by the amount of assignments you have completed, it is way too late. I really hope you take this advice well, and at least talk to an advisor about it. I hope you are doing well in all of your other classes!
